The SingularityNET Foundation is the primary organizational force behind Hyperon development. Founded by Dr. Ben Goertzel, it funds core research, coordinates open-source development, and operates the decentralized AI marketplace. AI Marketplace

The SingularityNET AI Marketplace is the decentralized application (dApp) through which the ecosystem's AI services are published, discovered, and consumed. It connects two roles: Service Providers (AI developers who publish services) and Service Consumers (application developers and businesses who call those services). Developers manage their offerings through the AI Publisher backend portal, which provides usage analytics, team collaboration tools, testing, and financial management.

The marketplace's on-chain infrastructure runs on Ethereum (with Cardano also supported):

• MPE Contract (Multi-Party Escrow) — handles payment channels between consumers and providers, enabling per-call microtransactions without a per-call gas cost
• Registry Contract — stores organization and service metadata on-chain
• IPFS/Filecoin — decentralized storage for service descriptions, protobuf specs, and documentation

Services are paid for using the ASI (FET) token — all new services now publish under the unified ASI token following the 2024 Alliance merger, with the legacy AGIX marketplace deprecated. This is the commercial layer where Hyperon-powered capabilities (PLN reasoning, pattern mining, MOSES program synthesis, neural-symbolic pipelines) are intended to be exposed as callable AI service endpoints accessible to any application.

Ecosystem Coordination

SingularityNET's ecosystem includes 20+ portfolio projects spanning longevity (Rejuve), robotics (Hanson Robotics), decentralized compute (NuNet), gaming (SophiaVerse, EARTHwise), and applied AGI (Magi). A $53M AI infrastructure investment was announced in 2024 to advance AGI capabilities across the ecosystem.
