Status: Active. Decentralized compute marketplace in the SingularityNET ecosystem. Tiered compute service model for Hyperon nodes planned for 2025+.
NuNet is building a globally decentralized computing framework that combines the latent computing power of independently owned devices into a dynamic marketplace of compute resources. Within the Hyperon ecosystem, NuNet provides the distributed compute infrastructure that enables cognitive workloads to scale beyond single machines.
Hyperon Integration
- DAS deployment: Referenced in DAS documentation (deployment guide) as a target infrastructure for distributed AtomSpace nodes
- ASI Hyperon Nodes: Planned tiered compute service model integrating SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and NuNet technologies. Service tiers include Compute Infrastructure, AI-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, and dedicated Hyperon nodes
- Jam Network partnership: Deploying Jam Network software on NuNet hardware as an initial DePIN expansion phase
Technical Role
NuNet addresses a fundamental scaling challenge for AGI systems: cognitive architectures like PRIMUS require massive concurrent compute for attention allocation, inference, and evolutionary search. NuNet's marketplace model enables on-demand scaling of these workloads across globally distributed hardware, complementing the ASI Chain's consensus-based execution with raw compute capacity.
