Status: Active. ASI:Chain DevNet and Hyperon AGI Framework Alpha 1 unveiled at Web Summit Lisbon (November 2025). ASI token live. Ocean Protocol withdrew October 2025.

The Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance is the overarching organizational structure governing decentralized AGI infrastructure in the Hyperon ecosystem. Formed June 13, 2024 through the merger of SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol, with CUDOS joining October 2024 as a compute infrastructure partner.

Structure and Governance

Each founding Foundation remains an independent legal entity with autonomous governance, teams, communities, and token treasuries. The Alliance provides shared infrastructure and coordination without dissolving constituent organizations.

• Chairman: Humayun Sheikh (Fetch.ai founder)
• ASI Token: Unified token (renamed from $FET, June 2024). Combined value ~$7.5B at formation.

October 2025 change: Ocean Protocol withdrew from the Alliance to pursue independent funding, tokenomics, and supply-reducing mechanisms for OCEAN. The Alliance continues with SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and CUDOS.

Core Infrastructure

• ASI Chain: BlockDAG network purpose-built for billions of autonomous agents — the decentralized execution fabric for Hyperon workloads. DevNet launched November 2025.
• OpenCog Hyperon: The neural-symbolic AGI framework at the Alliance's technical core, providing MeTTa language, AtomSpace knowledge substrate, and cognitive algorithms (PLN, MOSES, ECAN).
• ASI Hyperon Nodes: Planned tiered compute service integrating technologies from all Alliance partners, from research-grade to enterprise-grade deployments.
