Summary
A dense technical report on metagraph data structures and computation. It argues for content-addressed, self-normalizing symbolic structures; explains why immutability and copy-on-write follow naturally from shared subtrees; and connects metagraph assembly to typed connectors and sheaf-style reasoning. This is one of the deepest formal rationale documents behind modern Hyperon-era AtomSpace design.
Relevance to Hyperon
This report materially strengthens the theoretical basis for AtomSpace Full, especially the discussions of content addressing, structural sharing, and connector-based composition. It also provides background that helps explain why MORK-style substrates look the way they do even when the implementation details differ.
